Chocolate and Fig Cake

Here’s an amazing raw chocolate cake recipe from Dr Shirley’s book “Get Rooted”

Chocolate and Fig Cake
Ingredients – makes a cake for about 8 small slices

25g raw cacao powder
1 can (400ml) organic coconut oil
1 tablespoon organic coconut oil
100g dried figs
10g goji berries
50g cashews
100g pistachios

Blend cashews and pistachios until fine.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend
together. Pour into a small cake tin or
tray. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve
with cups of hot ginger tea for a
healthy afternoon snack.
